Get your truck driver school education at US Truck Driving School.  We offer two Class B CDL Training Programs:  Truck and Passenger Bus.

Class B Truck

The following is a 40-Hour Class B Straight Truck training program.  This program is designed for individuals who have no experience with Class B commercial vehicles.  The course length and curriculum are designed to promote professional safe driving techniques and for the successful completion of the CDL Skills Test.  Aspects of safe operation of the truck will be addressed both in a classroom setting and throughout the behind-the-wheel training incorporating deliberate situations as a 1:1 student to teacher ratio.

Training is designed to run ten hours per day with a 30 minute lunch break, a 10 minute break during the morning session and a 10 minute break in the afternoon.  Training begins at 7:00am and ends at 5:30pm Monday – Thursday.

This program is accelerated and requires all persons enrolled to have a Class B Instruction Permit before starting.  To obtain the permit it is necessary to have a DOT (Department of Transportation) Physical and Social Security Card when applying for the permit at a full service Department of Motor Vehicles.  The required exams are General Knowledge and Air Brakes and a fee of approximately $15.00 for issuance of the permit.

 

Class B Passenger Bus (P2)

The following is a 40-Hour Class B Passenger Bus training program.  This truck driver school education program is designed for individuals who have no experience with Class B commercial vehicles.  The course length and curriculum are designed to promote professional safe driving techniques and for the successful completion of the CDL Skills Test.  Aspects of safe operation of the bus will be addressed both in a classroom setting and throughout the behind-the-wheel training incorporating deliberate situations as a 1:1 student to teacher ratio.  Individuals obtaining a Class B with a P2 endorsement are qualified to operate a Class B straight truck or charter bus.  Add an S endorsement to this to operate a school bus.
